The Street of Hats in San Juan


Ideal place to go for a walk and learn a little about the Tz'utujil culture. Located in the heart of San Juan La Laguna, which consists of a street with different artistic works, from hand-painted murals by local artists to hats hanging all over the street, an ideal place to take some good pictures and to learn some history .

In the next mural that is located on this street, we see the vivid portrait of Don Diego Pérez Méndez, who was Mayor from 1972 to 1974, he was also Justice of the Peace for two years, , as he tells us in the brief history of San Juan by the Native Historian in our BLOG.
